Verstappen will go to Mercedes IF Red Bull fall behind. I don't really see Red Bull falling behind before 2026, and Ford may surpirse with their engine support for 2026 on. Nobody knows what's going to happen from 2026 on, and nobody knows if Mercedes will dominate. Some people expect Mercedes to have a dominant engine so they probably won't. Things rarely work out as people expect.

I think there may be legal problems with Mario clause in Max’s contract, as part of the struggle Mario used his position to secretly insert this clause into Max8s contract to give the Verstappen camp much more leverage but while I’m not a lawyer a boss and an employee colluding to add a clause to that employee’s contract expressly against the interest of that corporation sounds like an abuse of his position that might mean that clause is not valid or enforceable.

As an engineer lowering weight while increasing complexity and requiring larger Batteries isnt going to work. Most teams already have a struggling getting to the minimum weight.

Toto is a very clever man, he knew things would come around and that Red bull would eventually be less competitive. Abu Dhabi 21, Red bull internal strife and drop in performance. He still kicks himself knowing he let Verstappen slip away back in the day and he wants those back to back titles back. Look 1965, F1-1st, Tasman Series-1st, British Saloon car championship-3rd, Ttrophees de France-3rd, British F2-1st, USAC-he had some spare time only entered one race-1st won it. Doesn't matter if it was a saloon car or single seater, if Jim drove it he beat everybody. More natural skill than Senna or any other great.
